Chef Tyler Akin has Revealed his Menu for the First Field to Fork Dinner on June 30th Benefiting The Central Baptist Community Development Corporation


  Hors d’Oeuvres 
Melon and Bigorra Ham
Watermelon and Tzatziki + Black Olive Caramel
Grilled Potato and Taramasalata
 
First Course
Salade du Moment
Charred corn and carrot, braised radish, sumac onions, gem lettuce, green garlic buttermilk vinaigrette
 
Second Course 
Spaghetti
Squash, kaskavali cheese, basil, breadcrumb
 
Third Course 
Bavette
Tahini au poivre, garlic and tomato confit
Green Beans
Bagna cauda, hazelnuts
 
Fourth Course 
Clafoutis
Grilled peach, berries, olive oil whipped cream, mint

Our CSA Begins Tuesday, June 15th
 
If you've signed up for our CSA this season we're giving you a small taste of what's to come this coming week. Stop down to the farm stand between Tuesday and Sunday this week for your first CSA veggies!
Keep returning weekly, on the day of your choice (although we recommend stopping down during the week), check the blackboard for your CSA allotment and help yourself. Remember, CSA members save 10% all season off of items at the stand.

We wanted to give you the opportunity to get to know some of the Chefs participating in the 2021 Field to Fork season a little better. Read more about these culinary creators in the links we've provided and then be sure to pre-order your tickets and plan on joining us to enjoy their custom menus for SIW based off of the vegetables and fruits we're growing on the farm.



 Brand new to the SIW Field to Fork Dinners is Chef Bill Rawstorm. Chef Bill has been in the restaurant space for over 20 years, and is bringing his expertise to the farm this summer. Returning to the Returning to the Field to Fork dinner lineup is Chef Dan Butler.  Chef Dan is the Executive Chef at Piccolina Toscana in Wilmington, Delaware. Chef Dan's contemporary rustic style always heightens our SIW fresh produce. To learn more about Chef Butler click on the links below to see him in the news.
